Description:
Here is page eight of a 15-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Modern Cars And Locomotives: 1926." Depicted here are PRR engines #6556, #3976-3977, and #3914-3915. All were built in Juniata. Engine #6556 is a C-1 (0-8-0) switcher built in May of 1925 and retired in January of 1949. Engines #3976-3977 are DD-1 (2-B+B-2) electrics built in July of 1910 and rated at 3,160 horsepower. #3976 was transferred to the Long Island Rail Road in April of 1928 and renumbered "350-B," but #3977 was retired in January of 1949. Engines #3914-3915 are B-1 (C) switchers built in June of 1926 and rated at 570 horsepower each. #3914 was retired in December of 1962, while #3915 was retired in January of 1963.

Here is page 12 of a 30-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Modern Locomotives And Cars: 1939." Depicted here are PRR engines #4179 and #6556. Both were built in Juniata. Engine #4179 is a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built during March of 1924 and retired in 1955. Engine #6556 is a C-1 (0-8-0) switcher built in May of 1925 and retired in January of 1949.
