PRR 4-6-2 #3726
Description:
Another Altoona shops built K4s is this good looking brute in an unknown location. The 80" drivers are tucked in neatly behind the rods and pipes, half obscuring them. According to the Altoona records, this K4s class loco was scrapped in April of 1950. Specs - 80" drivers, 205 psi boiler pressure, 27x28" cylinders, engine weight of 304,500 lb, and tractive effort of 44,460 lb. Date is approximate.
